Afterpay is now available for our New Zealand customers!
Afterpay is a service that allows you to get your goods now but pay for your order over 8 a week period with fortnightly installments. There's no interest or added fees when you pay on time. There's nothing to pay upfront for returning Afterpay users. Payment is automatically deducted from your credit card in four equal payments each fortnight and your order is shipped as normal, straight away so there's no waiting like a lay-by. Winning!!
To use Afterpay you need:
- A debit or credit card
- To be over 18 years of age
- To live in Australia or New Zealand
- Visa or Mastercard (please note AMEX is not accepted)

Afterpay will appear as a payment option at the payment screen of checkout. Just follow the steps to make your payment.
If returning products from your order any refunds are adjusted to your final payment schedule. If your entire order is refunded prior to your first payment being charged no payment will be taken for your order. If you wish to cancel or do a change of mind return for your order, please note a fee of 6% will be deducted from your final refund amount to cover The Lane & Co's charge to Afterpay.

If you pay on time, Afterpay is free, with no hidden fees. If your payment is made 1 day late you may be charged $10 and if more than 1 week late you may be charged an additional $7.
At this stage, The Lane & Co only offers Afterpay to customers based in Australia.
Afterpay cannot be used to purchase gift cards. If you'd like to purchase gift cards they will need to be purchased in a separate transaction and paid for with any of our other payment options excluding Afterpay.
THE LANE & CO'S AFTERPAY T&C's
Due to the high demand of some of The Lane & Co's products, there is the chance that products will oversell if Afterpay is used at checkout. If you are using Afterpay to checkout, please note you may run the risk of your carted items overselling. This is due to Afterpay's payment gateway lagging. The Lane & Co is not responsible for goods overselling for customers who use Afterpay and we may have to refund/ cancel those orders which have oversold. If a customer would like a refund or has changed their mind on an order in which Afterpay was used, The Lane & Co will retain 6% of the original order amount to cover the cost of these fees. The customer will be offered to instead get a store credit of the full value of the original order if they would like to accept.
